Hi! I'm Alex

NØDA was founded by Alexandra McTavish, a multi-disciplinary actor, artist, and voiceover professional. Born in Hong Kong to Australian parents, Alexandra’s works delve into themes of gender, sexuality, nature, and solitude.

She uses a variety of mediums—oils, acrylics, ink, and watercolors—to express her instinctive creative process.

When she’s not on stage, screen, or behind the mic, Alexandra is focused on her mission to reduce plastic waste and create positive change through NØDA Naturals.

Alexandra’s acting career spans television, film, and theatre, with notable roles in Apples Never Fall (alongside Annette Bening and Sam Neill), In Limbo for the ABC, and House Husbands. Her work as a voiceover artist extends to a children’s podcast, Tall Tales & Other Stories, available on Apple, Spotify, and all good listening platforms.

Alexandra resides in Mianjin (Brisbane), Australia, on the unceded lands of the Quandamooka people of Moreton Bay, where she continues to create art, act, and champion sustainable living with NØDA.
